Hot job – WinCE/Mobile C++, telecommute 3-4 days – $3,500 reward

Well, the hottest job I am working on this week is a Windows CE/Mobile C++ software engineer position — what is unique and pretty cool about this opportunity is that you can work from home 3-4 days a week. Travel to the Cambridge, MA office just once a week. Get in touch if this interests you or someone in your network – I have am offering $3,500 cash for any referrals on this job.

Speaking of telecommute — hard to imagine how many companies are still against the concept. In 2007 “Face-time” is certainly important, but every hour of every day certainly does not need to be in the office. In our industry and in some companies, this “dinosaur” thinking is like the iceberg under the water – just a sign of so, so many other outdated thoughts. You hear me WW? 🙂

    Indeed, one does not need to be in an office all the time to produce software. I have found that working from hom makes me more productive, free of office noise and concentrated. Most of the times, conference calls were enough. Trips to the office were only necessary for some meetings and software integration.
    Now I am back in an office and long to go back to worling back home. Any takers? I have credentials!

  2. Appreciating the time and effort you put into your blog and in depth
    information you offer. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information.

    Excellent read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google
